We’re thrilled to share that our office has officially completed our renewable technology installation project! From solar panels on the roof, battery storage, and our new EV charger, we are taking a big step toward reducing our carbon footprint and becoming more sustainable as a company.
We, at Brooks Estates, are aware of our day-to-day impact on the environment and are always looking to see how we can improve and make more sustainable changes for the future.
We were lucky enough to be awarded a grant for 50% match funding, allocated from Cornwall Council’s Growth Hub Grants Programme. The Growth Hub Grants Programme is part of the Good Growth Programme, which is delivering the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in Cornwall and Isles of Scilly. Thank you to GreenGenUK for the installation.
With assistance from all parties, we are now generating power for our offices and EVs through 100% renewable energy, storing it in our battery and greatly reducing our carbon impact.
This is a significant milestone for us in our journey towards environmental responsibility, and it aligns with our commitment to fostering a greener future. We can’t wait to see the positive impact this will have on our operations and the planet.
