At Brooks Estates, sustainability and community are the two core pillars of our company and we actively try to incorporate and encourage them where we can.
We recently hosted our Litter Pick Event at Perranporth beach, co-hosted by our wonderful partners at the Cornwall Wildlife Trust and not only had a great time in the sun, we collected 28.5kgs of rubbish, recycling and ghostgear!
We hold these events in annually to bring together all our residents, tenants, commercial clients, partnerships, supporting business, volunteers and individuals in an activity that allows us to enjoy our beautiful local surroundings, whilst benefits the local environment.
This was a brilliant day, and we thank everyone who came along. Thank you also to our wonderful corporate partners including Waterhaul, who shall be recycling all the collected ghostgear into more litter pick equipment and snazzy eyewear, Clean Cornwall, for donating a number of reusable litter picking bags and assisting with litter picking equipment hire, Kernow Conservation, Plant One CIC and of course the Cornwall Wildlife Trust for hosting this event with us!
