Well, almost – although we didn’t spot any on our trip to Woodland Valley Farm with Kernow Conservation this time, it was incredible to learn more about these amazingly busy animals and the impact of their hard work on the local landscape was clear to see!
Beavers are fascinating creatures and true pioneers of rewilding. It was inspiring to see how their presence supports biodiversity and natural water management, even in numbers as little as two.
We’d highly recommend visiting Woodland Valley Farm to seethe brilliant work being done there, both with the beavers through the Cornwall Beaver Project through their wider organic farming practices.
A huge thank you to Kernow Conservation for such an insightful day!
