Our fantastic partners at Kernow Conservation have recently launched their Crowdfunder to support their ongoing water vole projects in Cornwall!
Water voles are a vital part of healthy wetland ecosystems, benefitting habitats and resources for many other wildlife. Since 2022, Kernow Conservation have successfully reintroduced around 400 water voles across two adjoining valleys in Cornwall. Some of the team at Brooks Estates were lucky enough to join Kernow Conservation on their volunteer Reintroduction Day for a few of these amazing creatures who are now busy supporting the growth of a healthier local ecosystem.
By supporting Kernow Conservation’s Crowdfunder, this will be helping to expand their water vole reintroductions, restore vital habitats, train local volunteers, monitor threats (like mink) and more!
